- This week you will have a quiz in your tutorial time as you have mentioned in the lecture. Each section in their time except I.Manal’s students.
- Bring your laptop if you prefer, but please make it ready BEFORE we start the quiz ( blug it in the electricity, open WS2003, etc) Any delayed will take from your time.
- You will have tutorial then the quiz (30 min.)

- The quiz is close book.

- The quiz will cover CH5 to the end of Activity 5-9.

Notes about connect the server with the client (2 computers)

- If you use 2 computers you can connect within a router or a cable ( the best is router) but if you face a problem with the router change it to a cable and vise verse.

- After you connect the two computers physically, make sure that their IPs in the subnet ( for example: 192.168.1.4 and 192.168.1.70).

Then Ping the IP from each computer to see if they see each other or not.

Finally, to make sure about the connection do Net view to see what you have in your network.

- Please, and please and please refresh your information that you have taken in Network1 course to avoid the problems in connecting 2 computers

- Notes about connect the server with the client:

After you make a network between the server and the client go to Network Places to check that the 2 PCs see each other. If not check how you have make your network (you missed something).
On the client PC assign the primary DNS to your server IP and the secondary one assign it to your router IP.
On the client PC also, go to the computer name and choose the domain name ( you can just write the name of the domain - for example AB - if the full name of the domain doesn’t work - AB.edu.sa -) *

* make sure that your account in the client PC is an admin not a guest.
